David's story
David F. Khalili is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in California and Florida and a board-certified sexologist. For over a decade he has worked with individuals and couples on sex, intimacy, anxiety, and relationships, with a focus on queer, kinky, and non-monogamous communities.
His path started with a master's in Sexuality Studies and a career in IT for large corporations, before he trained as a therapist. In 2021 he founded Rouse Relational Wellness, a boutique couples and sex therapy center in San Francisco's Castro, and grew it from 2 clinicians to 9. He went on to launch Rouse Academy, a CAMFT-approved continuing education provider for clinicians.
Today David is a recurring guest on SiriusXM Doctor Radio, speaks at conferences and universities, is an AI in mental healthcare researcher, specialist, and self-described healthy skeptic, and helps wellness professionals market their work with clarity and integrity.
